A note on pace
The point isn't engagement. It's helping writers feel seen.One paragraph processed slowly is more shareable than a thousand unprocessed words.
Process Life is for writing as a way of processing life — close relative to a notebook, not a stage. The closest analogue, PoetryBird, centres on poems specifically; we welcome the full range of inner writing and treat each form as equally worth holding up to the light.
No infinite scroll, no suggested-then-inject cadence. Members publish a piece at a time, and the room pauses around it.
We open slowly, by invitation, and prefer a few thousand patient members to a million restless ones. The first readers of your piece are humans, not algorithms.
Discovery surfaces the best writing across forms, not the loudest. A grief note from Tuesday can rise beside a poem from a year ago.
Not demanded. A reader may leave one careful sentence, or none. A writer may turn comments off and still belong.
We don't ask which form belongs here. Each has its weather, its time of day, and we hold each up to the light with the same care:
